Fresh 48

Looking for a Fresh 48 photographer in Toledo, OH? I will provide families with the opportunity to take photographs at the hospital just after giving birth. This is not a traditional newborn session, I will not pose the baby or bring props. I will just capture your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way! I will focus on tiny details and family bonding.


WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A FRESH 48 Session

Before we start the session we make sure that your new baby is warm and fed. Both results in happy babies. During the session, I will wrap your newborn in a blanket and they will be placed in their little hospital bed to ensure they stay comfortable. I use this time for all the tiny detail shots (the umbilical cord if requested, their hospital name tag, tiny fingers, toes etc). I make sure to capture the new mom and dad, and the family together. The session will have a lifestyle, documentary or storytelling approach.


I offer these sessions as an all inclusive option. That means you will receive 20+ digital images for this up to one hour photo session for a set price. During this time I create timeless photos of your new family bonding and loving on each other. Most families decide to print an album from this heartfelt session to remember these first moments for a lifetime.

Your baby changes so fast – day to day. Capture those first milestones, breastfeeding, meeting siblings or family members, Dad’s first diaper change, going home from the hospital or simply just gazing at each other! This session captures moments that will soon be lost in the fog of your “babymoon”! These are the photos your friends and family will be begging for and your parents will want blown up on the wall!

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FRESH 48 PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?

Fresh 48 sessions takes place at the hospital

24-48 hours after your baby arrives

This session will last around 1 hour

Includes a minimum of 20 digital images with a personal print release. 

There is a extra fee for travel if not a facility in Toledo area.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A FRESH 48 SESSION

The Fresh 48 session will be scheduled most often before 36 weeks, but not always possible I understand. With not knowing when baby will arrive I will be on call 1 week before and 1 week following your due date. Once baby arrives you will send me a text and at that time we will pick the exact day and time for me to arrive at the hospital.
